From One Truck to the Largest Refuse Truck Rental Fleet in North America

Every company has a beginning. Ours started in 1981 with a single truck, a strong work ethic, and a deep understanding of what our customers need to succeed. Premier Truck Sales & Rental was built with a clear vision: provide hardworking people with reliable trucks, fair pricing, and personalized service they could count on.

From that foundation, we've grown into one of the nation's leading providers of refuse trucks for sale, rent, and rent-to-own—serving private haulers, municipalities, contractors, and fleet operators coast to coast.

Key Milestones:

• 1981

  WHEN IT ALL BEGAN Leveraging his experience in refuse trucks and perceiving a need in a niche market, Joey Lojek founds Premier Truck Sales & Rental.

• 1986

  PREMIER MOVES TO VALLEY VIEW Following five years of growth, Premier relocates its corporate headquarters to a 20,000 square foot facility on 9 acres in Valley View, OH.

• 1995

  TAKING INVENTORY Premier expands our offerings to include an inventory of used trucks, trailers and containers.

• 1997

  THE RENTAL OPTION Identifying market demand, Premier buys our first 2 rental roll off trucks, officially entering into the refuse truck rental market.

• 2005

  FLEET EXPANSION 1996-2005 During this period, Premier continues to grow our roll off truck inventory and purchases our first 2 front loaders for rental

• 2006

  PROPERTY EXPANSION After years of confining our mechanical operations to 3 service bays at the back of our former parts office, Premier buys 7101 Wall St., a 15,000 square foot rental service and repair facility.

• 2008

  CAPABILITIES: ENHANCED Premier further expands our facilities and capabilities, acquiring 7420 Wall St., a 21,000 square foot dedicated wash bay facility and body shop located on an additional 8 acres.

• 2014

  THE FAB SHOP Capitalizing on another growth opportunity, Premier purchases 7111 Wall St., a 32,000 square foot mechanical fabrication shop.

• 2015

  THE OFFICE Moving away from the parts business and focusing on truck sales and rental, Premier purchases 7700 Wall St., our main office and corporate headquarters; housing sales, rental, accounting, human resources and marketing operations.

• 2019

  LET THERE BE COLOR Premier builds another shop at 7500 Exchange St., an 18,000 square foot body shop with attached state-of-the-art downdraft paint booth.

• 2021

  L5000 In August of 2021, Premier reaches a true milestone, renting our 5000th refuse truck.

• 2022

  CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUR PRIORITY Recognizing customer need, Premier purchases 7575 Wall St., a 12,160 square foot customer call center and storage facility.

• 2023

  CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? Premier launches a dedicated in-house truck support call center staffed by knowledgeable professionals, the team is ready to assist with any equipment-related questions for our customers.

• 2024

  LET IT SHINE We constructed a state-of-the-art truck washing facility guaranteeing that every truck is clean and ready for operation when it leaves our lot.

• 2025

  Construction will complete on our new 28,00 square foot fabrication facility expanding our assembly and customization capabilities. From humble beginnings to industry leadership, Premier has built a legacy of reliability and innovation in refuse truck sales, commercial truck rentals, and fleet solutions.
